International 发展 - Doctorate

Welcome to the International 发展 Doctoral Program

The International 发展 Doctoral (IDV) is dedicated to provide a hybrid doctoral program which encompasses the content 和 academic rigor of a traditional on-campus program, yet in a flexible delivery format. Our curriculum includes majors 和 minors in Economic 发展, Political 发展, Security Studies, 和 Social/Cultural 发展. IDV faculty represent various academic disciplines, while the diverse IDV student body includes students from colleges 和 university faculties, the military, private 和 public sectors, 和 non-profits.

The International 发展 Doctoral (Ph.D.) Program accepts applications for both fall 和 spring admission on a rolling basis. The annual deadline for the fall semester start is June 15 of that year 和 the deadline for the spring semester start is November 15 of the previous year. Following application reviews by IDV faculty 和 various other University channels, the 研究生院 will notify prospective students of their acceptance or non-acceptance.

Faculty Engagement

The faculty of the IDV program comprises scholars from various disciplines whose research is published in national 和 international journals. We believe in a Teacher-Scholar-Mentor model of instruction. In addition to scholars who are passionate about teaching the IDV faculty sees mentoring as integral to our doctoral program.
